At Amplifinity, we place great importance on your right to privacy and to the protection of your personal data.  We are committed to uphold the highest ethical standards in our business practices and strive to collect, use and disclose personal information in a manner consistent with the laws of countries in which we do business.

As of May 25, 2018, a European privacy law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is in effect. The GDPR imposes new rules on companies, government agencies, non-profits, and other organizations that offer goods and services to people in the European Union (EU), or that collect and analyze data tied to EU residents. As a result of the new requirements, we amended our policies and implemented procedures in line with GDPR requirements. These changes include, but are not limited to, policies relating to data processing, information security, third party processors, data protection and breach notification.

This privacy policy describes how Amplifinity collects and uses the personal information you provide on our website: (the “Site”), as well as the data collected at Amplifinity applications and wherever this privacy policy is posted (collectively, the “Services”). For data collected through Amplifinity applications, Amplifinity is acting as a data processor and service provider and collecting the data on behalf of our business clients (“Clients”). Amplifinity collects information under the direction of its Clients, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes.

Privacy Shield

Amplifinity has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. Amplifinity complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries and the United Kingdom. Amplifinity’s accountability for personal data that it receives under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party is described in the Privacy Shield Principles. In particular, Amplifinity remains responsible and liable under the Privacy Shield Principles if third-party agents that it engages to process the personal data on its behalf do so in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless Amplifinity proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

Amplifinity acknowledges that EU and the United Kingdom individuals have the right to access the personal information that we maintain about them. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data, should submit a written request to the Chief Technology Officer, whose contact information is listed below. If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Amplifinity has further committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the Privacy Shield Principles to BBB EU PRIVACY SHIELD, a non-profit alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States and operated by the Council of Better Business Bureaus. Collection and Use of Information

Our Site

We collect the following personal information from you when you visit our Site:

  • Information about your business such as company name

We use your contact information to send you requested product or service information or otherwise to provide you with requested Services.

If you register for an online account, you will select a username and password for accessing that online account. We will store your username and password for the purposes of verifying you when you log in.

As is true of most websites, we automatically gather information about your computer such as your IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and operating system. We do not link this automatically collected data to your personal information. This information allows us to understand how our Site is used, troubleshoot problems that may arise, and improve our Services.

Our Applications

Amplifinity provides referral software to automate sales-enabled referrals for our Clients. For data collected through Amplifinity applications, Amplifinity is acting as a data processor and service provider and collecting the data on behalf of our business Clients. Amplifinity collects information under the direction of its Clients, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes.

We may collect the following personal information from you when one of our Clients uses our applications:

  • Contact Information such as name, email address, phone number
  • Information about your business such as company name
  • Banking information

Third Party Relationships

We may provide your personal information to companies that provide services to help us with our business activities.  These service providers include hosting companies, CRM software providers, and payment processors.

These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us. We require that these service providers comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to data privacy and security.

We may also disclose your personal information:

  • as required by law such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal or bankruptcy process
  • when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request,

You have the option to opt out of providing certain information or data, from being contacted by or receiving information from Amplifinity, its sponsors, advertisers, affiliates and/or strategic partners, and to choose how Amplifinity uses your information and data. Children’s Privacy

This Site is not intended for or directed to persons under the age of 13. Any person who provides their information to Amplifinity, and who the company subsequently finds out is under 13, will have all such data removed. Any persons submitting data to Amplifinity on this Site represents to Amplifinity that they are 13 years of age or older.
